Owners tell us people walk in every day saying "we saw you on TikTok." Almost half our new restaurants come from other owners referring us.

AI agents run the operation end to end. They match creators to restaurants, book the visits, track the content, and handle all conversations over iMessage. Hundreds of visits a month, almost none of it touched by a human.

We're live with restaurants in Southern California and growing 40% month over month.

You own the creator side of the marketplace. All of it.

Every creator on this platform comes in through a system, and those systems are yours. The AI that onboards them, the funnels that bring them in, the flow that gets them from signup to a booked visit. You own how all of it works, you decide who's good enough to represent us, and you're the person they hear from when something goes wrong.

The marketplace works when a restaurant books and a great creator shows up. That's your job. Not signups on a dashboard, but creators who actually show.

Creator growth. Getting locals signed up in every region we're live in, and finding a new way to do it every day: on the ground, online, campuses, group chats, creator communities, whatever works. You own density neighborhood by neighborhood, not just the total.

The systems. Onboarding, the funnels, the AI that runs them. You work with our engineer to make signup-to-booking seamless. You see the friction, you bring it, we fix it together, and you own whether the whole path works.

Activation. A signup that never books isn't a creator. You own active creators, fill rate, no-show rate, and how fast someone gets from signup to first visit.

Quality. Who gets in and who gets removed. Only the best creators represent us. Restaurants churn when creators don't show or the content is weak, so this one is on you.

Events. Running and attending the ones that put us in front of creators and locals.

The relationships. Knowing the top creators personally and handling the disputes, the no-shows, and the hard conversations. You build it to scale past you, with shared inboxes, notes the whole team can see, and introductions made as TryNearby. Talking to you should feel the same as talking to any of us, because it's the company they're building a relationship with. That goes for all of us.

Required

• Great with people and obsessive about organization. Both. One without the other doesn't work here
• You've built a community, program, or group before, and you can tell us the number it reached
• Comfortable walking into a room full of strangers and leaving with signups
• Self-directed. There's no playbook yet
• Based in Orange County / willing to relocate, able to work onsite, drive constantly, and fly when we open a new region
• This isn't a 9-to-5. Events happen and creators are active at night and on weekends

Nice to have

• Creator economy or talent agency experience
• Vibe coding. You've built something that worked with Replit, Claude Code, Lovable, Cursor, or similar
• Restaurant industry experience
• A second language

We're building long-horizon conversational agents that operate in the physical world.

You'll work across Postgres, REST APIs, multi-agent harnesses, async workflows, memory management, and iMessage and SMS infrastructure. Conversation is our main product surface, so messaging is core infrastructure here rather than a channel we bolted on.

We work heavily with AI coding tools and expect you to as well. Your work will span backend infrastructure, agent systems, and the apps our restaurants and creators use. You'll own architectural decisions and take ideas from prototype to production.
