Design Engineer

Latent builds medical language models to help hospitals authorize drugs super fast. We sit right in the intersection of healthcare and AI. We have signed enterprise contracts with several of the largest healthcare organizations in the world, and have more waiting to use our product!

There is 1 trillion dollars of paperwork waste in healthcare today. For the first time, we can use language models to effectively automate all of it away. This is a very large opportunity, and we are breaking into the market by tackling prior authorizations.

We are an early stage company with an incredible opportunity in front of us. We are growing fast, improving patient care for millions of people, and removing massive amounts of cost from the system.

We are looking to hire our design engineer! In this role, you will work closely with the co-founders and our early customers to help health systems operate more efficiently and deliver better patient care.

• Collaborate with co-founders to design product features that delight early customers
• Work closely with early customers to understand business requirements and design features that really matter
• Help grow the organization and set cultural direction

• Build state of the art transformer models
• Search across EHR data to find the most relevant clinical documentation per question.
• Integrate across the EHR via FHIR standards by hitting 100s of APIs in < 2.5s
